Whilst fundamentally a repository for events, the Events Home may also be rendered as a listing page, with various controls over Layout, Filtering, Pagination etc
Content: control over a couple of headings that relate to event items (Invoice Heading, Details Section Heading)
Layout: options for how the list of events will render (Grid, List) and how many events per page. Settings that affect the appearance of event list items (colour styles, hiding elements, text alignment)
Sidebar: extension of the standard GO sidebar setup with additional Events specific options
Filters: mixture of show or hide switches to control the filtering feature
Certificate: fields entered here will cascade through to a certificate that is made available to attendees of an event (they must be Members on the website). This is useful in the context of a site that offers training and career development support to a Membership group, and the Member requires proof of their participation (e.g. for CPD)
Layout issues
Excess spacing between metadata and title within an event list item
An event list item has internal padding set regardless of whether a background colour has been picked. This results in the content appearing out of alignment
Accessibility issues

Potential improvements
Control over the border radius and padding values on an event list item, or indeed on all items with the potential to render as a card - e.g. Promo Cards Component
If event 'cards' do not have a background colour picked, then their padding is set to 0
